When wafers were created?
The waffle is a dry and crunchy sugar product, most often rectangular or square in shape. It is prepared from thin layers of crust, baked in special forms (press), which are spread with different types of cream or filling – chocolate or fruit cream, peanut butter, tahini and honey. Waffles first appeared in the Netherlands in the 7th century.
