There are more than 200 agriculture plant sepcies which bees collect the honey from in Bulgaria. Main kinds of sepcies for honey collecting in Bulgaria are: acacia, lime tree, sunflower, lucerne, thistle, lots of herbs and other kinds of trees.

The normal shape of natural bee honey is crystalised. It depends of the kind of honey – how many weeks needed to come crystalised. For example – acacia honey needs the longest time for crystalising – more than 12 months, but it’s not the same for sunflower honey – it needs 3-10 weeks, depends of the concentration of sunflower contains.
